I find your teaching brilliant. The best is really to be talking through the procedure as you do it, not a long list of mistakes to talk about after when pupils forgot half of the events.
That massively improves the learning and observations.
As an HGV driver I find too many drivers on road with poor observations and in UK very poor and dangerous motorway skills.

I wish my instructor mentioned to me about leaving the clutch at the biting point after downshifting, as he never said anything but bring it up slowly, and i never noticed it because i was too focused on everything else. i realised it recently in my own car

I normally clutch down as I'm slowing down, then select appropriate gear to pull away

I passed a couple of years ago . 7 minors, 2 for misoperating wipers, 2 for stalling when arrived back at the centre because I was so nervous haha 😂 The instructor said to me: “you do that one more time and I’m gonna fail you. Well done you’ve passed.
