All Done and Mad definitely intentional. Because Bye is contextually appropriate too, and because it seems like cats NEVER set down a paw without knowing EXACTLY where they’re putting it, I vote for Bye as intentional too. Button-cat Todd does back-foot presses routinely. Is it kinda like us shutting a door with a foot when hands are full?

We tried harness training Tasha and Taylor before we moved from Denver back to New Mexico after my grandpa died back around 2002. Taylor just sort of accepted it but Tasha flopped on her back and would scream at us untill we took it off.
We ended up using kitty carriers for the nine hour drive. Think she hated that even more.

Likely intentional. They have four legs, and know how to use them all. Todd does “backfoot press” all the time in sequence for a sentence. My talking cat often sits on some of the buttons and it could be intentional or not though this can repeat the same word so it is likely intentional. Laying down on many buttons I think means frustration or perhaps not having the words to express what he wants and it’s still intentional just not a specific word or meaning. 😅

I do think it was intentional. Cats are very careful where they put each paw and foot (or at least mine are). I think it's great that you're harness training! Mine are harness trained. We call it "safety gear" and they tolerate it well. They know that they can go exploring outside to see new sights, smells and sounds when they have their safety gear on.

The way he ran off after pressing bye makes me think it was intentional.
