This actually makes sense, considering if she took every vision in inazuma and engraved them into the statue of the omnipotent god It could be seen as an offering or a sacrifice to istaroth, Ei might have been trying to strike a deal like the first pyro archon after all in the pursuit of eternity, your greatest enemy would be time. 😯

Well... It could be that the statue of the omnipresent God is not only one entity but two, the body and the wings. The body could be Makoto where the wings were Istaroth Guiding Makoto in Inazuma.
I can't say it's Yae because the only person who has business with Istaroth was Makoto regarding the Sacred Tree.

I find it interesting how so far in the game, Inazuma and Mondstadt are the only nations with big statues in their cities. Considering how Istaroth was worshipped both in Enkanomiya and Mondstadt before disappearing without a trace, there's definitely something connected between the two statues, or at least, the nations, imo. Also the fact that Venti is mentioned several times in stories and descriptions related to the "god of time", I can't wait to see what more lore drops the game is going to offer.

its crazy how the community is discovering LOTS of foreshadowing in trailers that were released years ago, just shows how much hoyo planned everything since the beginning, to the most detail possible
