Just seeing these auto cal revolvers that don’t need a finicky bent moon clip to shoot it. S&W made a cool one at some point that did the same thing but not many & they are probably expensive..if you can find one. Don’t remember the model number. 905 maybe.?. Thx for showing your gun. 2 questions about the looks of the gun..is there a finish on the whole gun or is it a bead blasted bare metal?& Is that black writing on the barrel painted on or laser etched?if I got one I’d like to do away with the writing & re bead blast over just that area and see if l could get the finish to match up. Without having to go over the whole thing. Its just esthetics but curious. LMK pls. Thx again

Took another look it’s not all that bad. Still like to know though. Didn’t notice it was ported at first either. Had a S&W 638 with that whiteish silver finish on part of the gun and it was irritating (to me,for some reason.?.)when it started chipping off. I still like those ugly humpback revolvers. Hope to find a M49 one day for a good price. Take care
