Panjura is beautiful, but it's very samey, and it is TOO BIG with WAY TOO DAMN MANY CLIFFS. I really wish Alderon would give Panjura a makeover because it has potential as a beautiful map, it's just a pain to get around

Panjura is a very pretty and large map where you can hang out peacefully and enjoy being a dinosaur without a lot of stress.
Gondwa is a beautiful and well designed map with many distinct and diverse biomes (and a useless but still pretty ocean) where you can go to impact crater and fight to the death or scrounge around the outskirts of the map hoping no mixpacks find you and reap your soul while trying to quest and enjoy your life peacefully...

I like the Panjura map, mostly for the redwood area because I love seeing giant trees in every direction, but doing quests on there sucked.
I would be doing a nut collection quest, specifically tiger nuts, scan the whole area for tiger nuts and find none, only to discover that I need to SPRINT out of the poi area to a deadzone next to it, collect maybe one pile, regen my stamina and sprint on back to the poi area to reset the quest countdown timer.
I think at one point I downloaded the Panjura map on my phone, and I would skirt around areas and make notes on my phone where the area ended, similar to the map in the video lol

I haven't played on panjura in a while, but when it was the main map, I knew where I was on the map and all the direct paths to them, granted most of the time it was Hotspots, but most of time I was pretty familiar with where I was

Tho I appreciate the different kinds of biomes, I miss Panjura. I hope they'll update the map so flyers and aquatics are playable.

Panjura is way better than gondwa for the sole reason that impact crater doesnt exist

I know panjura is samey but it's worst offense is just the questing, I am honestly quite bored of everything looking so vastly different on Gondwa, sometimes it feels a bit too cartoony

Panjura is a better map to me. It doesn’t get used though bc some of the flying mods and oceans mods won’t work on it.

i mean.... panjura is very believable and immersive terrain (realistic and very mature in geological terms). It sounds really bizzare to hear that its easier for realism servers to play in literal fantasy map (Gondwa) :P. Personally i like panjura, if there were more players roaming all around the map, it would feel extremely real to play this game. I prefer path of titans over other dinosaur games because of the immersion, not because of another everyday fantasy options available in every other dinosaur game.

I had no problem with orientation on the original map, and everything important happened at the big lake

Panjura is like playing on the map that is in fact, in the background of the actual map you should be playing on. The stuff the dinosaurs would absolutely not be hanging out in or on top of. It should be renamed to Cliffland, because the map honestly has more vertical surface than horizontal surface. The main thing I didn't like about Panjura, is that you could ask any player at random to move a random direction for twenty seconds, and they would tell you they can't, because there is a cliff in the way lol. I'm exaggeratingof course, but at the same time, am I? XD It was pretty, but fustrating as heck to first learn the game on when they would stick on on top of one of those no-man's mountains with no obvious way down on baby spawn. I learned since then but still.....shudders*

I think the other reason alot of people prefer gondwa is the fliers tbh, i prefer panjura but i know ALOT of thal and hatz players who have all their things grown on panjura because thats where their hatz and thals are

Panjura is beautiful because it feels like a real slice of the genuine wilderness of our world… however… all wilderness is the same. TREE. HILL. MOUNTAIN. WATER. That’s all Panjura is. It needs more substance to it, more definition. I hope the dev team remakes or revises Panjura in some way. It really needs it.
