Here are the 3 bureaus
www.equifatwitter.com/ www.transunion.com/ www.experian.com/ Here are some of the benefits of freezing your credit:
Increased security: When you freeze your credit, you're taking an important step to protect your personal and financial information. With a frozen credit file, lenders and other financial institutions can't access your credit report to approve new credit applications, reducing the risk of identity theft.
Peace of mind: Knowing that your credit is frozen can give you peace of mind, especially if you've been a victim of identity theft in the past. It can be stressful and time-consuming to deal with the aftermath of identity theft, so taking steps to prevent it from happening in the first place can be a huge relief.
Cost-effective: Freezing your credit is typically free, or may require a small fee depending on where you live and whether you're freezing your credit for the first time or unfreezing it temporarily. Considering the cost and hassle of dealing with identity theft, freezing your credit is a relatively low-cost, high-impact way to protect yourself.
To freeze your credit, you'll need to contact each of the three major credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. You can do this online, by phone, or by mail. Once your credit is frozen, you'll receive a unique PIN or password that you can use to temporarily unfreeze your credit when you need to apply for new credit.
In conclusion, freezing your credit is a powerful tool to protect yourself from identity theft. By taking this simple step, you can increase your security, gain peace of mind, and save yourself the hassle and expense of dealing with identity theft.

Experian does not cost/charge to Freeze your account. It is a law that they cannot charge for this. You are wrong on that sir. All 3 Bureaus have to offer that feature/option for free to everyone.
