I understand not drawing with realistic proportions, but that being said, it would be nice to see some stylised body variety. I myself draw with very stylised anatomy at times but it's not just skinny characters. I'll enhance the softness and roundness of plus size characters in ways body fat might not naturally form but still convey a diverse range of body types.
If you are a character artist and designer, it's important to learn to portray different types of people.

Just saying people with naturally big butts and large boobs and a small waist do exist. People just be getting mad at anything that people are attracted to because not everyone has that feature. Sometimes people just get jealous. Jealousy happens but just make sure that you don’t push down others feelings about their body to make others feel good about theirs :)

Ok this is a topic that I've observed closely for a hot minute. I kinda wanna know if this is weirdo behavior or if it's ok (asking in a youtube comment section might not be the wisest choice but I rarely see this talked about so here I go)
I'm a (queer) man, so I'll start by stating the obvious: I have never lived a female experience.
I really strive to draw women in a way that is not sexualised. I'm not against sex, art is subjective, everybody should be able to express themselves as long as they don't hurt anybody. But the last thing I want is a straight man gooning over my art. That's not the audience I want. And the way I try to avoid that has been by showing less skin when not necessary. Drawing practical armor where the chest isn't exposed so that you can see their boobs. Not drawing them in heels if they're fighters and have to be steady on their feed and stuff like that. The internet is already saturated with this kind of stuff and I don't want the women I draw to be sex objects for the male gaze. I don't want to shy away from drawing sexy characters all together (women included), but I want to do that in a way that is respectful. I need to understand what that means and what it looks like. Thoughts? Am I doing bare minimum? Am I doing too much? Am I just a big weirdo?
