he Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has come down heavily on eight students. It has imposed a fine of ₹1.2 lakh each on students for staging a 'derogatory' play. This fine on the students is nearly equal to a semester's fee at the elite institute. The play called 'Raahovan' was staged during the institute's annual performing arts festival. On March 31, students from different departments and years performed this act. Several videos of the play were shared widely on social media. Details here.

తల్లి తండ్రులు అహోరాత్రులు కష్టపడి దాచిన సొమ్ము ఆంతా వెచ్చించి,
పిల్లలు తమ బాల్యాన్ని బలి పెట్టుకుని చదువు మీదే దృష్టి పెట్టీ ఐఐటి లలో సీట్లు సాధిస్తారు
కానీ అక్కడికి వెళ్లిన పిల్లలు మన సంస్కృతి ని చులకంబీచేస్తూ మాట్లాడుతారు, ఈ దేశం లో కంటే విదేశాలలో పని చెయ్యడానికి మక్కువ చుపుతారు.......దీనికి అంతకు మూలం ఏంటి అంటే అక్కడ తిష్ట వేసుకుని కూర్చున్న కొన్ని దుష్ట మూకలు..... సాధారణం గా అక్కడికి వచ్చే పిల్లలకు పుస్తకం చదువు తప్ప ప్రపంచ జ్జ్ఞానం తక్కువ.....అటువంటి అమాయక పిల్లలను ఒక proven psychological strategies వాడి నెమ్మది నెమ్మదిగా సొంత culture ను తక్కువగాను, వేరే వాళ్ళ సంస్కృతి లో ఎన్ని తప్పులు ఉన్నా గొప్పగాను భావించెట్టు తయారు చేస్తారు......పాపం తల్లి తండ్రులకు కూడ ఈ విషయం తెలియదు
విదేశీ యూనివర్సిటీ ల లో కూడా ఇదే పరిస్థితి.
మన చేతి లో ఉన్న పరిష్కారం ఏంటి?
అటువంటి విద్యాలయాలకు పంపించే పిల్లలకు ముందే కౌన్సెలింగ్ ఇచ్చే వాలంటరీ organizations రావాలి.....తల్లి తండ్రులు కూడ కొంచం అవగాహన పెంచుకోవాలి, పిల్లలకు కూడా పెంచాలి
ఈ విషయం ఇది తెలిసిన వారు చుట్టూ ఉన్న వారికి తెలియచేస్తూ పోతే మార్పు వస్తుంది
ప్రభుత్వాలు బహుశా ఏం చెయ్యలేరు, ఎందుకంటే వెంటనే సమ్మెలు ధర్నాలు మొదలు పెడతారు
