MOst important thing is to learn how to lube that foam filter! I think many can miss a small spot and filter would take in sand/dirt particals.

WOW - had to de-water a mates 1090 once and it was a pain getting to that filter.

That looks terribly convenient. But, with the stock system I believe I can see when water might be close to entering the airbox. I'm afraid the Rottweiler air filters are not protected enough. I have been in water at seat height, so I'll stick with stock.

What about mud dropping into the air intakes when changing it, use my 1090 off road mainly. Only concern. Love the concept 🤔

The principle and mechanism are all right. However, the system should be improved by adding female slides on both sides of the support and male slides on the air filter. Why? Answer at 54 seconds into the video: the coupling between support and air filter is far from optimal, and the angle on the right remains gaping. A magnet isn't enough. So the principle's okay, but there's room for improvement. For the moment, I prefer to keep my traditional R.P. air filter.

Ok so I am washing my OG rottweiler for the 1190 and it is a pain in the ass! It is so hard to rinse and dry because of the frame. It is taking days to dry. Is this new style hopefully easier for this? Like the foam peels off a cage vs bonded to cage? Also what about velocity stacks. Mine has the 2 tall billet suckers in there. Are they integrated into this filter cage?
