I have found the Strong’s concordance to the KJV extremely helpful in understanding the meaning of antiquated words. It’s sad that many of these words have left our vocabulary through lack of use by the common population. But with little effort by those who don’t mind studying in detail, these words can be understood. BTW the use of pronouns in the KJV is old practice, but it’s important to point out that THEE, THOU, THY and THINE, are always singular and YE, YOU, YOUR and YOURS, are always plural. Why is this important? Well, for example, when Jesus spoke to Nicodemus in John:3 He said; “I say to thee, (Nicodemus) Ye (all of you) must be born again.” Another example of a modern false teaching is that many have been lead to believe that their individual body is THE TEMPLE of God. However the scripture says; “Know ye (plural) not that YE (plural) are THE (singular) temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. (plural) If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple YE (plural) are.” (1 Corinthians 3:16-17 KJV) There’s only one body there, the body of Christ, and only one Temple, the collective body of believers, which YE are. This understanding of pronouns is the same in Greek.
