Viera was technically better than Roy Keane. One of the best midfielders I’ve ever seen. I think Roy Keane was better when it comes to some of the intangible elements of football though like heart, bravery etc

Keane was quicker off the mark read the game better, scored more goals won more duals and won the treble. In the semi final he bested a Juventus midfield containing Conte, Davids and Zidane. Vieira never got close to Winning the Champions league. Vieira was also a bit part player in the 98 world cup, although he assisted a goal in the final.

Won two league titles ffs pipe down. Brilliant player but keano was better all around. Keane’s reputation as a “hothead” took the focus away from his footballing ability. One of the greatest midfielders of all time at passing the ball forward/into feet. Different gravy he was. Big pat a baller too

I remember when Keane scored twice at Highbury in 2000 to win United the game almost single handedly but Vieira never done that at Old trafford and not even close to doing it... also never come close to what Keano did in Europe either..Roy Keane was a serious player and a reason United dominated English football...i think alot of people should seriously consider what they are saying about Vieira being better than Keano very carefully..
