Wouldnât it come down to deploying it correctly then? You would have the same issue with every other kind of folding knife. So really, if you donât deploy it before using it, thatâs user error.
Personally I donât have a dog in the fight, I carry fixed blades most of the time. I see your point but it seems like youâre just saying âdonât try to deploy it into your opponentâ or âlearn how to handle your weapon properly before you use itâ.

I agree with what you say. However, the same go3s for any folding knife. If you try to open any blade & something gets in the way, it will not fully deploy.

I agree a auto is arguably but u would want a fast deploy with strong lock

If you need to rely on it, get a full tang fixed blade.

I hear ya but would have to say that if U've made sure deployed have seen them driven through a 2 x 4 and come out working fully engaged it would have a very fine very specific drilled center but certainly see Ur point
