My 2 cents.
The set up of the golf course (no matter the weather) was a disgrace. I understand the home team get the benefit of setting up the course. The purpose is to give the home side a small edge by ideally setting it up to suit your team and hopefully you get a couple of the oppo that struggle with these changes.
Not only did the changes end up being more beneficial to the oppo, BUT most importantly you disrespected the golf course!!!!
To widen some of the fairways as much as they did and to cut the rough to a level where being in the rough was not a hinderence was an insult to the reputation of Beth Page Black. Even if you had the right players for the course set up, you should have chosen another course!!!! The changes made in Paris, making it tighter, thicker rough and the need to hit different clubs off the tees on par 4's and 5's, did not intrude or insult the golf course and it clearly benefited Europe as you had the likes of Bryson, Phil and Woods to nake a few that struggled with accuracy off the tee. The Captain picked 1 player that the course is not ideal for and had 2 automatic qualifyers that it does not suit.
I would argue that 1, 2 or all 3 of the following should have made the team - Novak, Gotterup and McNealy - as their games suit the course set up, their form is good and they don't have battle scars like some.
Colin never should have been picked and I would have left out JT and Sam.
Why? Because out of the 6 automatic qualifiers, you have Xander that hasn't been in the greatest form together with 2 rookies - JJ and Russell - who definately should be on the team but are 2 of the shortest hitters of all 24 players.
The argument that my team would have too many Rookies doesn't hold for me. They have all won this year (Novak having won in a 'team event' with Griffin who deserved his place.
They are playing at home.
Young is joint top points maker for the USA (and should have played all 4 games), JJ is joint 3rd points scorer and only played 2 games and Griffin looked good in his one and only game - should have played more.
Keagan was chosen as someone that enabled a new start for the USA Ryder Cup Team to incorporate some things that work for Europe, leave behind the Boys Club type mentality and not to be afraid to use the 6 picks as a benefit to how you can shape your team - as opposed to having the 7th to 15th ranked players as your only focus.
Nothing has changed, his picks were bad, his choice of players and pairings on day 1 were strange and then he compounded his mistakes on day 2 by 'sticking to his game plan' when it was obvious a combination of the players form and pairings failed on day 1.
Finally, the fact that you agreed to pay your players sums up the difference between the two sides!
Oh, and I take it that the stupendous amount of adverts that kept interupting the coverage - and the quality of the coverage - is connected to you needing more money to pay your players and done without thinking how this greed tried it best to ef-up the greatest sporting event in the world!!!!!!

Bottom line is the Americans play for individual pride, the Europeans want to collectively win as a team
