The justice system was really flawed. Jason knew that how many times joker goes to jail, he ain't gonna receive an execution. And you know what? Batman didn't want joker dead after all the torturing that occured on jason. Jason had 100% reason to be angry on batman for not letting him kill joker. Maybe my sense of justice is that joker should have gotten what he deserved.

I am 100% sure Jason would love hanging out with Golden Age Batman. For those who don't know, the first version of the character is very violent towards criminal and does not think twice before ending the life of a threat, like when he shot the Mad Monk while the undead was sleeping. In fact, when he threw a criminal into an acid pit during his first appearance, the only comment he made was "A proper end for someone like him"

Before the most recent writers fucked him up, Jason was the definition of morally gray. He understands that rapists and murders, especially people like Joker deserve to die but also understands some people need and deserve to have a second chance. That's what I love about him. Batman's code is too black and white and Jason was a great character to understand and sympathize with and understand why he's morally gray.

Bruce at Jason's funeral: "I'm sorry, Jason. I almost saved you...but I couldn't...I couldn't..."
Alfred: "It annoyed me the messy way he always left his room... Now I'd give all the money in the world just to see that junk lying on the floor again..."
Dick: "It's my fault. I shouldn't have given him the suit at such a young age. I should have been Robin a bit longer..."
Beast Boy: "He never liked my jokes, but I'd be lying if I said he wasn't a good boy. No one should die that young..."
Donna Troy: "Not to mention how handsome he was. I wouldn't have minded dating him under other circumstances..."
Jason: Emerges from the grave "Do you really mean that, Donna?!" π

Speaking of "A Death in the Family," I've always found pretty fascinating the alternate page the authors made in case fans voted for Jason to live, which shows a blissful Batman holding Jason's body while yelling, "He's alive! Thank God!" I wonder how the Batman stories would have continued from that point if that page was the one used at the end. Anyway, it was colored and featured in "Batman Annual 25", the special issue that tells how Jason was revived, as "the reality that should have been", according to the narrator. They should have definitely adapted it for the interactive film

It's pretty curious how Jason does such good teamwork as long as it's not with Batman or other people who are part of his traumas. For example, during the "Countdown to Final Crisis" event, Jason, despite his mental issues, makes during his multiversal journey an excellent team with his old friend Donna Troy (whom he had a crush on when he briefly joined the Titans during his time as Robin) and Kyle Rayner (despite the fact that Green Lantern dated Donna while Jason was dead)

Jason actually had two origins. Originally he was the son of circus acrobats and stumbled on to the fact that Batman was Bruce Wayne, becoming Batman's new protege, shortly afterward becoming the new Robin after Dick Grayson stepped out of the role and became Nightwing, about the same time Jason's parents were killed by Killer Croc (Croc's first appearance). Awhile after that the writing team changed and the new writers decided that his origins were too close to Grayson's so they retconned it to the angry orphan street kid.
Fun note: in the retcon Batman met Jason when while chasing this minor crook Batman returned to the Batmobile only to find Jason had jacked his tires. It was one of the few times when Batman laughed.
