This venue is perfect for any occasion whether you have a large family or group of friends. It lets you escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and recharge. Even if getting to the place could be challenging, it will be worthwhile in the end.

Mountain Farm Cebu, formerly Rancho Cancio, is situated in Cebu City's Barangay Adlaon. Yes, although this private resort is located in a mountainous area, it is still a part of Cebu City. It's actually a very large house with a garden all around it. They offer five completely air-conditioned rooms that can hold up to twenty people, or possibly more; additional guests are subject to an additional fee. Excellent amenities include free wifi, a kitchen where you can cook, a living room with karaoke, a dining area with two large tables and cozy chairs, parking spaces, bath towels, plenty of comfort and shower rooms, an infinity pool, a billiard table, and breakfast. It's a plus that there’s NO CORKAGE.

With this location, our barkada reunion was made even better by the tranquility of the area as well as an amazing opportunity to catch up on our new lives. We had dinner from ZK's Affordable Packed Lunch (see their Facebook page), siomai sa Tisa to round out our selections, and the resort took care of our breakfast. We had crispy pata, siomai, buttered shrimp, bam-i, and beef caldereta for dinner. For breakfast, we had the leftovers, pritong danggit, scrambled eggs, luncheon meat, and rice. It was also a fortunate moment for us because they inquired if we would want fresh buko and sweetcorn as it was corn harvest season.
