Only soak for about 30-45 minutes.. baking soda will dry your hair out.

Hey girl! So, baking soda and apple cider vinegar are more effective if you do 2 separate soaks. Baking soda is a base, and vinegar is acidic, so using together makes them both less effective and doesn't achieve as good results. Try again doing a baking soda soak, rinsing, and then doing the ACV soak, and it should remove more dye and give you better results. Use some hair oil or a conditioning mask afterward, too, because it can be drying. Good luck and your locs look beautiful! ❤☺️
