Slime staff is actually really good… not for the reason you may think, money farms for jungle mobs make it incredibly easy to make max amounts of money because of this pet it being on the reforge broken

The flare gun is fun to use pre mechanical bosses when youre looking for ores. You just need a couple of the X-ray glowstick thingys to make ore seeking flares

i feel like if the flare gun didn't do any damage it would actually get more love, it's main feature is being able to shoot light sources from far away, making it an exploration tool. however, since it does damage, people mistake it for an actual weapon as opposed to a utility.
