One of my favorite films is called "Orchestra Wives" 1942. Jackie had a small roll, but also in the film was Cesar Romeo and a young Harry Morgan.

I watched the Honeymooners when I was a kid, and as I recall he was a loudmouthed blowhard who verbally abused his wife and regularly threatened her "to the MOON, Alice", and was just an over the top jackass. In those days, to be fair, many of the so called 'comedies" were just this way. "I Love Lucy" was similar, with Lucille Ball spending most of the episode enraging her husband and the last of it snugging up to him. "awwwww Lucyyyyy"
