I cannot change or overstate my original preference. A 400 gal. poses near-infinite possibilities compared to a teeny tiny 30. Dude, I just won't be swayed๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yes! I'm still going with the 400. Throw a sump on it and some lights and you're golden.

Could only put small fish or crustaceans in a 30 gallon. We could have almost ANY fish we would want in a 400g tank

I'd still take the 400g and make it a super nice planted tank lol

Yes, still without a doubt 400 gallon no question

Yeah bro, gonna be a 400 gallon for me. I can see why people would choose the 30 gal but Iโ€™m more into bigger fish so 400 gal for free is nice

It's easily the 30 gallon tank for me. If the tank is from Waterbox or UNS, that would be the dream. I have a small apartment, so a 400g tank could fall through the floor anyway. And the 400g is also an awkward size. If I was going that large, I'd go all out with something bigger. Something along the lines of 8' x 4' x 4' so I could actually keep some large species of fish like some freshwater stingrays.

I think I made my point very clear; PLANTED RIMLRSS with all the bells and whistles!

30 gallon hands down. If I have all those fancy stuff, means less maintenance. For the 400 gal, I would still have to buy heaters, filters, stuffs that has to go inside the filters and etc. The bigger it is the more expensive it's going to be. 30 gal saltwater tank with fancy expensive setups, could you imagine how that would look?????

Yes I'm still choosing the 400 gallon, the only way I can afford a tank that big is if I do a pool pond, but I'd love to have an actual tank that size, I dont care much about plants and aquascaping

@Cooper_m22

I would take the 30

400 gallon. Add a sump maybe a couple canister filters and a light. No doubt. South American cichlids,bare bottom tank, a few large decorations and some fake/silk plants. Itโ€™s all about the fish for me not the plants.
