‼️ Cross winds while towing an RV can be very dangerous.

❌ This is another example of why riding in the back of a moving travel trailer or fifth wheel is never safe, even in states where it is legal.

It’s really important to know the forecast when you are RV traveling.💯

📌 Besides regular weather apps we also use the Wind Finder app.

While there is no hard and fast rule of what is too windy to drive/tow an RV, your safety has to be the number one priority.

In our experience we have had some scary towing days with wind mph in the 30s with higher gusts.

Over 40 mph is a no go for our family. It makes it too easy to lose control and just not worth it.

We have tweaked travel plans to avoid high wind RV travel days.
