Wow, fantastic! Great job!! The girl in the chair has hair about like mine, same length as well, and it's great to see a caucasian stylist know how to flat iron black hair, and demonstrate a silk press (which is what African-American women call this--we don't really call it flat ironing.) I've watched dozens and dozens of these videos over the last year, and I have never seen this before. I think it's because lots of caucasian stylists just don't know how to handle African American hair because it is so delicate, easily damaged, and differently textured, so they just don't try. I had a caucasian stylist give me a wash and blow dry about a year ago, and although she tried, I could tell she had no idea what she was doing, and my hair puffed up when she was done just like a mad cat, lol! It takes the right tools, the right product--and experience, people, lol! So I'm beyond elated to see a caucasian stylist brave enough to go for it and do such a wonderful job! Kudos! And he's cute too, lol. Her hair looks amazing, and I'm so glad you didn't cut it and left her length, which can be super difficult for us black women to attain. ๐๐๐

I see the comments about the heat protectant, but....also be aware that using a plastic comb with a lot of heat can melt the plastic and it can get in your hair. That actually happened to me because I didn't pay attention to the temperature setting my straightener was on. I was using a small tooth comb just like he is in the video, but I noticed that my comb was melting.... like, the points of the comb are all wavy and disfigured๐ฎ๐
