“Let the world hear your voice. Don't be afraid to speak up."
This is the message Greta Thunberg , the 16 year-old Swedish climate activist who was nominated for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize, sent to the young people in Hong Kong.
After a 21-day journey by catamaran, train and electric car, Greta eventually arrived Madrid to attend the UN Climate Conference COP25. In an interview by the Hong Kong civil society organization CarbonCare InnoLab (低碳想創坊), this young lady of perseverance gave a word of encouragement to the Hong Kong youngsters.
She understood that the Hong Kong youngsters are currently facing an unprecedented challenge- they are both fighting the current battle and facing the climate crisis affecting their future.
Fight for justice. Before the arrival of dawn, Greta couldn’t lose, Hongkongers couldn’t lose.
