It happened to us in the Philippines. Police found my father with dementia brought him to home-for-the-aged. He died because he did not take his maintenance meds for days. His name was stitched in his shirt. We have posters all over the city as we are all searching for him. The personal at the Home, wrapped his body with blankets and buried him in a pauper's grave yard. After so many leads, we found his body. The government did not even have the decency to post his pic at death notices in the papers. My father died just like that.
