I'm pretty sure that NO ONE who liked Trolls Band Together was chill about it bc they were all teenage girls obsessed with Velvet and Veneer for some reason. Also, I'm kinda torn between GOTG 3, Antman and the Wasp Quantumania, and Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 when it comes to my favorite 2023 movie. They were all pretty good for 2023 movies lol

FNAF IS THE BEST ❤ ITS MY ABSOLUTE FAV, HERES SOME THEORIES ABR THE FNAF MOVIE
I believe that the main character Mike Schmidt is in fact Mike Afton in the movie like he is in the games. What would make me think this, you ask? Well, in the first trailer we see two scenes that take place in a misty forest type setting, and given the fact that one of those scenes features the dead kids, it's safe to assume that it is some kind of dream sequence. So we can assume that whenever we see Mike in the forest it is a dream. But why would he be dreaming of the dead kids? Could it perhaps be that the ghosts are reaching out to him in his dreams? Or, could it be long forgotten and buried memories coming to the surface if his mind after years of being suppressed?
Why would I suggest that Mike is seeing the kids in these dream sequences because he saw them in his memories? Because of the other scene that we see in the forest in the first trailer. In that scene, we see a kid in an old car with what appears to be a woman in the driver's seat looking back out of the back window as the car drives away, and then the camera angle changes and we see Mike standing behind the car, as if the kid is looking at him. This scene is important, because I believe the kid in the car is a younger Mike, looking back on the life that he and his mother are leaving behind. As they are leaving Mike's dad behind. But why are they leaving? What lead them to cut ties with Mike's dad?
This is where scenes from the second trailer come into play, because I believe that there are more scenes in the trailers that are dream sequences then just the ones in the forest, and that the ones not in the forest are nightmares. This is where my theory takes some leaps in logic, but it fits narratively and makes sense. Matpat pointed it out in his reaction to the first trailer, how it would be weird and cluttered to have not only just the four main animatronics as the bad guys, but to also have Springtrap, aka golden bonny, aka William Afton himself, appear as a bad guy like he seams to be in the trailers, in full bunny regalia and knife out ready to relive his glory days. And he is right, but I don't think the scenes with golden bonny are happening in the present, or at all really, I believe they are nightmares that mike is having, nightmares of something he saw as kid.
What do all of these things mean though? What story do they build? Well, I believe the story that they build is this. Mike Schmidt was once Mike Afton, son of William Afton owner of Freddy's. And one day, while Mike was at the pizzeria, he noticed that his dad wasn't in the front of the house, so he went looking in the back for his dad. And he found his dad. He found his dad in the golden bonny suit killing a kid and hiding the body in an animatronic. And maybe, he saw it happen another time as well. Maybe he didn't see all that much of what was going on and didn't realize what he saw the first time, but something felt wrong and when his dad was gone again, he went to go investigate again, and actually saw what was happening that time. The details of what he saw and how aren't what matter though, because the important thing is that he saw something. Something horrible. Something unspeakable. Something so terrifying that he became afraid of his own father. And his mother noticed this change in personality of her son. And she had already been suspicious of her husband with the recent string of missing children in his restaurant and his strange behaviour, but this fear in her son's eyes confirms it for her. Her husband is guilty. But she has no proof. There is no proof, and no matter how hard she tries she can't get Mike to talk about what he saw. But she needs to get herself and her son away from the monster who used to be her husband. So she leaves him, gets a divorce and takes Mike with her. She changes her last name to Schmidt, maybe it's her maiden name or maybe she gets remarried, and changes her son's last name along with it, to separate them as much as possible from the monster. And Mike, away from the constant reminder of what he saw, eventually forgets about it, his brain hissing those memories away to protect itself from them. And Mike grows up and lives a semi normal life, until he takes a job as a security guard at an old haunted pizzeria, and slowly but surely all those memories he buried come back to the forefront of his mind. Dreams of the children who went missing, faces that he saw lifeless before being shoved inside a casket of metal and wires and fabric, and nightmares and of a man in a bunny costume chasing him through the dark and empty halls, with a knife in and a murder in his eyes leaving Mike filed with feelings terror but also betrayal that he can't seem to place.

So, we all know that the Ruin DLC comes after the princess quest ending, the sword in the arcade cabinet makes this pretty clear. However, this leaves a few holes when it comes to the DLC. For example, if were not playing the events after the Burntrap ending, why is the blob there? Why is the pizzaplex in such disrepair even tho Ruin seems to come a few months after SB at most? Well, here's my Idea. : Maybe Ruin is what happens in an ending we are unable to obtain, an ending where we save Vanessa, and then return to end things once and for all by taking out burntrap, let me explain.
It's not too far fetched to assume that Vanessa would keep her memories from her time as Vanny, especially since she comes back for Gregory after being saved in the princess quest ending. So, it's not too hard to assume that she might remember repairing Afton down below, and wants to put an end to it all. So, with Gregory and Freddy, the trio might have returned to end Afton, releasing the blob and resulting in the place falling apart, freeing the mimic in the process. After realizing what they had set free, Vanessa and Gregory return one final time and trap the mimic and create M.X.E.S. to keep it locked away, hoping for things to be over and done with. But things are never that easy. Somehow, the mimic finds a way to contact Casey, pretending to be Gregory in danger and luring her in. After realizing what had happened, Gregory and Vanessa return once again, searching everywhere for the girl until they manage to contact her when being attacked by the mimic, Gregory speaking to her since she might trust him more than Vanessa. They try and help her escape, but the mimic cuts off their conversation and pretends to be Gregory once again before breaking the elevator line and sending the girl plummeting. This explains a lot of plot holes, including the presence of the blob, the shattered state of the glamrocks, and more!
