Pdx resident here; I was Queen Elizebeth last year and it was so fun wearing the huge hoop skirt and sewing the costume.

Absolutely adorable! And spot on accurate. Excellent job. The hat makes me think of foxglove flowers, like we see in Victorian period fairy illustrations. My grandmother taught school from 1912 to 1920, and this makes me think of the pictures in some of her schoolbooks.

A thank you to @johnbrightcollection for your wonderful collection and high-quality images that made this costume possible. The original uncut version of this video had a solid minute and a half of me just cracking up over this costume. I had not tried it on altogether at once before and once I saw it altogether and more importantly, heard it it just brought me so much joy and I couldn’t help but laugh at it.
