Torx was already unnecessary. But you got me to buy a whole set of those. If I come across this screw, I’m going straight for the pry bar

Or just use the Robertson like we do in Canada. It's been used since the earth 20th century and America almost adopted it back then. It'd a square, it's simple, rarely strips, way better than any other standard screw

Many screws don’t strip, the issue is scre companies want your screws to strip so they can sell more screws. The Roberson screw is a good example. It’s only not popular due to a failed deal with ford way back funny enough resulting in hex shapes taking over 😂

Honestly I just tap the screw with the bottom of the drill or side to get the screw started then go from there

I have in 5 years of carpentry, stripped probably less than 10 torex screw heads when using properly, they seariously difficult to strip... why make this at all?
