Last time I checked elden rings price it was 500 in my currency around 50 dollars. DLC costing 40 isn’t much and to be honest it’s expected as the hype has been going on for a while with theories and lore and now everyone is excited for the new lore and etc. I’d pay 40 bucks for a game any day it’s cheaper than most other games.
Edit:(knowing fromsofts other dlcs they cooked so well I’m sure they cooked even harder on the elden ring dlc the trailer was fire)

I hate this guy. I’m surprised he isn’t saying so Elden ring is $5.00 (which it’s never been) and 80 hours. If the dlc is half that at 40 hours then the dlc should cost half the price of the game $2.50. Shut the hell up haha I’d pay another $60 for the dlc. Plus If he can find Elden ring for $5.00 + $40 for the dlc, that $45 for one of the best and longest games ever.

If you don't think it's worth forty dollars, then don't buy it. Problem solved.
It lets more people play the game without having to pay as much, and people who really like the game can buy more of it.
