Got dry, itchy patches on your skin? It might be eczema! Eczema happens when the skin's barrier weakens, letting moisture out and irritants in. This causes redness, itching, and sometimes small blisters. Often, it’s a mix of genetics and triggers like stress or certain soaps. While there’s no full cure, keeping the skin moisturized and using gentle products can make a big difference. With a few easy steps, you can help keep eczema flare-ups under control!"

The worst part of Eczema is when you FINALLY get your skin under control and then suddenly you have an outbreak and you’re back to where you started 😭

I had eczema in the folds of my arms since I was 13. I randomly decided to create spa days for myself, taking baths with grape seed or avocado oil ,thick lotions like gold bond or jergens which kept my skin moisturized for weeks Im 30, I haven't had a flare up in 9-10 yrs and the discoloration is gone. My daughter has eczema in the same area. I use sulfur 8 on her after a bath. No itch , fast healing. Tried hydrocortisone and it made our eczema worse. Tretinoin cream works for discoloration as well

My son developed it after birth. I've tried everything i could. Sometimes ridiculous things to make it better. But it didn't help. He has 9 different creames, sometimes it helps but sometimes not. It was so bad he needed bandages and gloves cause it bleed. Nothing worked than ended up hospitalized.
Not only that it comes with various things like allergies, asthma, adhd etc.
He has the whole package. It's sometimes too much to handle. Always sick from the medication, there's no normal life, not for him nor for me.
Because this eczema turned our life upside down.
People always stare, avoid etc. For me it's like hell. Thank god he doesn't understand yet.

As someone with eczema, I can say that it is quite annoying to have, I also tend to get blisters sometimes.

I had eczema 6 years ago.. and I was able to get over it after some time.. however, I'm still worried that if I'm under some stress it will go back again.. especially now that I'm overly stressed with my work

Lifelong mental and physical torture is what this disease is. Sure you can keep it under control but you never know when you’re gonna have another breakout. It is insanely hard to recover from a breakout and maintain it. Having this disease has made contemplate suicide so much because it’s literal torture to live through this disease

The worst part of it, if you're sweating and try to sleep, you literally start itching everywhere

story time😃..

so i have a friend let’s call her C. so when me and C went into a different grade in school she started to act all weird like being rude to other people and friends etc. but the thing that annoys me such is when she would copy me. one time i told her i had eczema (true) and the next day i called her and she was saying “OH I HAVE ECZEMA TOO LIKE I HAVE SUCH “DRY” SKIN😍😃😃” and i asked her if it itches or gets red and she’s like “NOO IDK WHAT UR TALKING ABT MY SKIN DOESNT TURN RED OR GET IRRITATED🤪🤪” and when i stopped bringing it up she doesn’t talk about her “eczema❤️❤️” no more (edit: her skin is SUPER SOFT and not dry or anything like that when i first met her
