As a professional tattooist of 13 years I agree 100%. I tell all my clients you need to feel it, especially the first time. If you can’t handle it the pain then you shouldn’t get tattooed. Just like anything else in life.
No I do use numbing spray for clients who have already been through it many times. I’m known for large surrealism color portraits and sometimes they can take up too 10 hours per session. Raw dogging that takes a true beast… and yes some people still do it. 💪
