For those moments when you've been handling food or got messy hands and hadn't opened the bin first!
Uses a high torque 35KG/cm Servo in a 3D printed mount, with a 3D printed curved arm pressing against the back bin chassis.
Control via Sinric Pro communicating with an ESP32 and a bit of coding in Arduino IDE. Scene created in Sinric and then mapped to a Routine in Alexa to allow the specific trigger command and speech output.
Result = Brownie points from my wife duly banked.
