Beautiful engine!!! I built one for a van about 15 years ago but it wasn't as impressive looking as the one you got on the stand there. What kind of car is the one in the middle? I thought for a minute it was a karmann ghia but it doesn't look like i remember them

Horribly antiquated engine in need of:
1. distributor-less, DCI (direct coil) ignition
2. FI (fuel injection)
3. VVT (variable valve timing)
4. True cold air filter adapter
I’m giving the builder credit 4the remote oil filter adapter &the clean build. C’mon guys!
