Here is a thing I have to say. This is not some routine that Newton decided to implement in his lifetime so he starts studying. He was a workaholic who was obsessed with studying. He was in flow with what he was doing. He was not only doing something but felt that his life only meant at that point for achieving what he could from that. And as someone who had experienced what it feels like, it doesn't take place voluntarily (from my experience. Currently I am trying to learn about Taoist principles on how to achieve it). You are like in a calm and flowing state where all you can live for is for that particular action.

Newton was doing it out of his own free will and interest while you were forcing yourself, and that is the difference. Newton liked his work so much that he used to sometimes forget to sleep the night, and tbh it's understandable that when you are doing something you like, you lose track of times it's like kids playing video games and losing track of time cuz they like playing it so much.

Passion is the key altho i find it hard to believe that newton sir could follow this regularly as without eating or sleeping properly it will only affect the health badly but it must be true that he worked for hours as there is a spark in us when we do what we like.I used to forget eating too when i was studying i jist naturally enjoy learning things.Right now my mental health is lil messed up 😂or maybe too much i can barely dare to try studying😞 i hope i overcome th

Newton was a man of value. When i was studying in highschool i saw Newton everywhere:
In maths: Newton's formula (quad equation), Newton's binomial expansion, Calculus, etc.
In physics: Newtons Law of motions, Newton's law of Gravitation, Optics and Lights, etc.
A man of value provides more than what he receives, he wasn't banging his head for awards or appriciations. It was only him and his passion. The only person humanity have seen with such ambition was 177 years after Newton died in 1905 known as the "Miracle year" when Albert Einstein published his groundbreaking discoveries in a single year which none can achieve in their lifetime. This is where passion gets you.

Newton was not studying. He was actively engaged in creating. He wasn't guided by textbooks and problem sets, he was guided by, "what happens if I assume this." Trust me, that makes a huge difference. I can only study for a few hours at a time, but when I'm engaged in creating something entirely new and unguided except for my imagination, I can go until I pass out.

The thing is if you're doing something of your interest doesn't matter whether if it's studying or any other activity but if there's something that is always in your head and you just love doing it so you usually forget to eat or sleep cuz the interest is keeping you awake and then you just want to keep yourself busy doing it and you're not even aware how much time has passed.❤
