Games without pause functions are inaccessible. Can't truly get engaged into a game if there is a chance I would be disturbed. Free blocks of time is rare if you live with other people or you're on call for whatever reason. Solution there's lots of games I don't play for that reason. Though really you can't argue with the lack of a pause button in the way certain gameplay is set up.

Being creative is important in art, this difficulty you have makes you unique and sets your art apart. So don't fight it, but embrace this.
The struggle for starting artists in art school is letting go of drawing straight lines and colouring perfectly between the lines. If we want a perfect recreation of reality we would take a picture, letting go of perfection makes it more organic and alive.
I don't mean to tell you to make abstract art, draw what you normally would draw, but listen to your body and go with its natural flow.

As it pertains to the very specific example she's using, concerning the game itself and not life as a whole, she's correct. If a game cannot pause, then, in trying to play that game, having a small child is absolutely a disability IN RELATION TO HOW YOU CAN PERFORM IN THE GAME. Context is important, and she made that statement within a very narrow situational context.

She’s not wrong. People are just confusing terms. They’re confusing a situational disability with a physical disability. They’re two entirely different things! She’s not saying having kids is akin to having a mental/physical illness that destroys motor functions, giving you a physical disability, like what probably pops up in your mind. She’s saying having no pause button would lead to things like having a kid you need to tend to be a situational disability.

Nothing says Twitter like people arguing the semantics of terms they don’t even know exist
