This really isnāt the case anymore, depending on where you live. Our homeschool community in Michigan is huge and we have prom and dances and graduation and all of the sports;and compete against public schools all the time. My kids are very well socialized.

I think home schoolers are generally more mature because their parents are teaching them. When parents are more involved, the kids then become more likely to reflect their parents instead of reflecting other kids.
