I just don't understand how companies like Halfords are legally allowed to sell bikes over the internet, claiming that all you have to do is put the pedals on and tighten the handlebars. If this poor customer had tried to ride the bike the way it was set up, they could have been seriously injured — it was completely unsafe!
In all my years in the bike trade, I have never seen anything so dangerous. Bikes sold online need a full safety check! If it comes in a box, it needs a P.D.I. (Pre-Delivery Inspection).
That's why we don't sell bikes online. All our bikes are fully built, thoroughly checked, and come with two free services.

Ik this is why Not to buy an apollo my brother had one and he was just innocently riding it and then out of nowhere the tire burst and my apollo which I got rid of I got it BRAND NEW was dying after a year
