IEP meetings always give me anxiety and I always leave feeling worse. Our team is incredible! Our school and team are so amazing, itās just having to relive the constant reality of what our child(ren) can and cannot do.

Hey, im 16 years old and in grade 10 trust me when i say iep has helped me heaps with school, i didnt get diagnosed with Autism until grade 5 and I was not getting the proper education and i couldn't keep up with the other kids. IEP changed my life so much. Hopefully yours goes all well

IEPs are so hard. It makes me feel not alone knowing im not the only parent who feels this way going to their childs IEP meeting. Sometimes I feel like its me against the school and it shouldnt be that way- because were all on the same team! I think schools need to do a better job at listening to parents when it comes to the needs of our kiddos.

Why are IEP meetings so horrible? Either they make you feel like your child will never be able to be independent, or they're a constant battle to actually get the services they need! There's no in between. I'm dreading my son's upcoming meeting...

I had my youngest's yesterday and left crying. Sometimes things don't go as planned, but I know we would both do anything for our kiddos. IEP meeting focus on what they can't do; we see all the things they can. ā¤
