For those asking about the colorful diagonal lines across the screen: they are not present in person.
They are a "rolling shutter" visual effect/artifact. A modern camera does not capture an image all at once, it "scans" the image from top to bottom. CRTs also create an image by scan from top to bottom. So normally, if you match the frame rate of the two, you can capture a pretty still looking image, because they are both aligned and scanning top to bottom.
However, YouTube shorts are vertical, and to capture a vertical video, I had to rotate my camera 90 degrees. So now the camera was scanning from right to left, while the CRT was still scanning from top to bottom. This misalignment of the two scanning directions created the visual artifact of the diagonal lines.
You can learn more about this effect by searching "rolling shutter".

I think i played you at Low Tier City on one of these things YEARS ago, but I dont think you had this set up with a modular port at the time. This is incredible!!! If only this TV was still on the market it'd be incredibly sick to sell wiis as card slots like this haha. Almost feel like getting one of these myself just for the novelty

Finally I can feel like a space trucker in an Alien scavenging vessel while I play Mario Kart.
