i think the judges need investigated, when they keep giving out very low or suspended sentences crimes such as s@xual assault and r@pe etc.. there's been too many times in the last decade or so where they seem to be VERY lenient on those types of cases
makes me wonder if they are protecting people or being blackmailed because they certainly aren't giving high enough (or sometimes any!) sentences

The reason the system is like that is down to geopolitical decisions. UK government as part of the GFA had negotiated peace with terms that pardoned terrorism on both sides when the acts were done before the agreement was signed. It also currently wants to pardon itself from crimes committed as it was not agreed governments would be pardoned (hence the Legacy Act was recently attempted). Crimes committed that had nothing to do with the politics weren't pardoned (most notably racketeering in the IRA and drug trafficking with loyalists).
Issue is Bronson was not wrapped up in a war that gives him leverage like they got..
