Vince is a rare player that bridged the early and late pats dynasty. I believe 2004 was his rookie season? But he was on the 2004 Superbowl team and the 2014 Superbowl team. Until like lawyer milloy, vrabel, Brady and on Belichick pushed out or traded a patriot legend.

When Mayo coaced the team to a victory in that last game costing them the first overall draft pick it sealed his Doom.... Wish we had a couple Vince wilfork's on the roster right now that's for damn sure one of the best players in Patriots history and a man deserves to be in the NFL Hall of Fame

100 percent true. He got a raw deal. No Coach no matter how experienced could do anything with that team. That’s a multi year project.

Raw deal at first, but then as the season progressed you could see how undisciplined this team was from the field to off the field. Saying bye to jerod was the best thing that could happen. Should have said bye earlier
