I have always hated wearing a watch, the discomfort was never worth time and alarm features alone. I never take my Fenix 7x pro Solar off, love it.

So.. here we are. The 8 has arrived. Ive been eyeballing a 7xPSS or Epix 2. Is the 7x good for quick reference on a run? Because its not Amoled like the Epix 2, im concerned that a quick reference while running in the dark wont work so well.. any opinion on that?

I don’t get how people get such battery life the only time I’ve managed over a week is on holiday with no activities logged with loads of lux hours. Usually get a week at most with 4/5 activities tracked. It’s a Fenix 7 x Solar and only 9 months old.

Why the industry hasn't made solid state batteries for watched is beyond me. Stsrt small and work your way up.
Charge in literally five minutes and your good for 20 days.

I would love to try Garmin watch, but since i use Apple pay and control my music with my apple watch almost every day, so simply i can't.
But if i want a smartwatch which last the longest possible time and for health monitoring, then fitness bracelet would be great option and way cheaper..

I charge mine for 15 minutes every night I take it off to take a shower. My watch never falls below 90 percent.

I ordered the instinct 1 solar. Will be my first "watch" of this kind. Been a regular watch guy for many years.
