Unless you carry chefs knives in your luggage. I had to discard all my knives that I had packed in my luggage. Which is weird when you think about all the knives and swords shops there are in toledo, granada, etc

And it's so much more comfortable.
Madrid to Barcelona by train is 3 hours. Compact time, you can work or do whatever.
On flights however, you have to do stuff, all the time. And can't ever get a proper time to chill/work.
If it takes less than 6 hours, it's probably faster and more enjoyable by train. (and it's actually often cheaper, because you often can't chose when to fly and catch cheap tickets)
