My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about disability, neurodiversity and living with Tourette's Syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and Orthostatic Hypotension. Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition causing involuntary movements called tics.

I have two canes, which are different in structure and like sturdiness, but ALSO colour! So I can pair them with my outfits!

I for a few months have used a cane and recently have been given a back brace to use on a daily basis. The cane helped me be more confident with people seeing my disability. I was afraid of people judging me or daying "you're not disabled enough" or "you're over dramatic and dont need that cane" but people have been respectfuland not even glanced at it most times. I will say the back brace is drawing more eyes towards me. Some friends have asked me if I have tried putting the brace on underneath my shirt and I think it is more comfortable over it. I am embracing (pun not intended haha) the fact that my physical problems are more on display and it is okay. Its what I need in order to enjoy life with less pain. Thank you for spreading confidence to everyone no matter their background.

I have to wear ankle braces sometimes because of my hyper mobility. I have to wear braces for strenuous activities, and while they are pretty small, they still make me feel self-conscious, so thank you, this really helps
