These spicy tangy candies make a great addition to your chatpata candy.
Ingredients :
Amla (Indian Gooseberry) - 300 gms
Water - 1.5 Cups
480
Boil for 3 to 4 whistles
Remove the Seeds from the Fruit
Transfer to a Mixer Grinder Jar
Tulsi Patta (Basil leaves) - 12 to 15
Grind into a fine pulp, add little water if required
Cook the amla pulp on medium flame till water is dried
Jaggery cubes- 300 GM's
Cook the jaggery till it melts properly
Hing - 1/8th tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/4th TSP
Black Salt - 1/2 tsp
White salt - 1/2 tsp
Dry ginger powder - 1 tsp
Roasted Cumin -1 tsp
Dry Mango (Amchur ) powder - 1/4th cup
Keep cooking on medium flame till the mixture becomes thick and starts to leave the sides of pan
Keep stirring continuously
Once cooked, transfer to a bowl and allow to cool completely Sugar powder for dusting
Grease your palms with ghee and make tiny balls
Roll into a circle and coat in the sugar powder
Repeat with all the mixture
Store in an airtight container
