On Kartik Purnima, more than 30 lakh people took a holy dip in Garh Ganga and the pilgrimage city of Brajghat. The return from the fair started immediately after bathing in the Ganga. Due to this, there was a traffic jam on the Brajghat and Garh Ganga fair route on the Delhi Lucknow highway throughout the day. The troubled people had to face a lot of trouble in covering a distance of a few steps.
कार्तिक पूर्णिमा पर 30 लाख से अधिक लोगों ने गढ़ गंगा एवं तीर्थ नगरी ब्रजघाट में आस्था की डुबकी लगाई।गंगा में स्नान करने के बाद ही मेले की वापसी शुरू हो गई। इसके कारण दिल्ली लखनऊ हाईवे पर ब्रजघाट एवं गढ़ गंगा मेला मार्ग पर दिन भर जाम के हालात बने रहे। परेशान लोगों को चंद कदमों की दूरी तय करने में भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा।
