Im heavily leaning towards Schelp's side, and i do agree that roblox has messed up, though there are some things we should not ignore.
Qatar restricted all of its citizens to have access to the roblox application and website 2 days ago because of child safety concerns. It's not the only country that has taken these kind of measures though, as Turkey, Jordan, China and 3 more states despite North Korea, have permanently banned it as well a long time ago. The main reason why roblox banned schlep and his assistants, and as well as vigilante groups in general, is because, long story short, these individuals, even though they had good intentions, were breaking a lot of roblox's Tos rules. These rules include the voice & video recording of minors without parent consent, the navigation of roblox users onto other communication platforms through roblox, the possible leak of information from underaged users to the public, etc.
Straight forwardly banning schlep did seem like an excessive reaction, and it is, as roblox could have showed that they did not appreciate these type of people in a variety of other ways. Nevertheless, roblox could have gotten itself in even more legal trouble if they didn't follow their own Tos rules, which also prohibited to technically take matters relevant to the platform's moderation onto your own hands, even though schlep's team proved that reporting these incidents to roblox's moderation system was not satisfactory.
Additionally, the state of Louisiana has officially sued roblox for failure to protect its younger users, and the lawsuit is currently under court investigation. US Congressman has also started an investigation about roblox's child safety system and protocols, while a lot other high-ranking professionals have taken legal action against roblox.
Roblox is currently under a lot of pressure, and a tweet has been shown around social media of a police department requesting David, CEO of roblox to step down from his current position. However, note that this tweet could be fake and is not 100 percent legit or confirmed.
Roblox's reputation has been getting from the frying pan and onto the fire the past days, and multiple content creators out of roblox have started repeatedly talking about this topic. Roblox is in serious trouble, but it won't back down either, as it is a massive multi-billion company, has professional legal teams protecting it from any type of legal trouble, and is hard to fight against.
Hope everything softens soon though.

What's stupid is they're banning everything now. In the chat selection, asking a simple question to friends results in being banned from chatting there for a period of time, even if it wasn't bad. If you do it three times, you won't have access to your own account anymore. It's clear they're using AI because I am on my 2nd warning for asking, "gm or dc?" It said, "Do not give your personal information." What? Asking if we're calling on Google Meet or Discord is now a federal crime in which I could lose my account and thousands of dollars spent on it? Their AI is the worst I've ever seen.

0:19 this is where roblox point comes in. such investigations should be only managed by TRAINED officials. but VIgilante groups aren't. afterall, their main purpose is to get profits from clicks and merches. such content could even disrupt the police investigations.
and schlep isn't the only vigilante group. some group even falsely accusing, doxxing some proven innocent people. obviously, since those vigilante groups are making content from it. some kids and people may even do it which are more dangerous + with only entrapment, those predators may only even serve less jailtime or even dismissal of charges. which is why such cases should be only handled by the officials. (police, fbi). You may argue that schlep did such investigations with the police involved. but my point that they making money off it still stands. but this is more like Roblox taking down the giant to stop the other vigilante groups.

Vigilante groups are never a good thing. One fail mistake you may even serve a jail time and like i said, disrupt official investigations.
But roblox is still on the wrong side for not doing moderations appropriately. but i still believe roblox is on the right regarding vigilante groups, if only they're doing their job in the first place.
