You're finally talking about dogs, when does the talking WITH dogs begin?
(How about some some Graves Disease, thyroid eye discussion? As a male with both conditions there isn't much directed in my way and my doc seems distant at best .From the little I've gathered, it hits men harder with little info to be found in general and a ton of misinformation/ conflicting information!!)

My husband and I have cats. Although I love them and they are great companions, they mostly sleep. My son has a dog, part border collie, and very energetic still at 9 years old. When I babysit my grandson during the school year, after taking him to school, I walk Mako on the farm next door and get an additional mile or two of brisk (she chases EVERYTHING she sees!) walking under my belt. Always feel even more energized for my daily intentional walks. Loving these videos. Thanks Docs!

Wonder if this applies to chihuahuas ๐. My chi nearly gave me a heart attack yesterday when a male deer came in our front yard. She charged at him in typical chi fashion. Of course she was on a leash. The buck looked like he was about to charge. I ran to scoop up my dog and get her in the house. She was still barking at him in air jail

My dogs saved my life. No hyperbole. I started fostering and doing rescue in 2011. By 2013 I had 2 spinal fusions which nearly killed me ( not surgeons fault, just failed back syndrome), forced to retire as an RN. My son died unexpectedly in 2017, and in 2019 I was diagnosed with cancer. And as much support as I received from friends and family, it was my little pack of 5 rescue dogs that laid with me each night while I sobbed over my boyโs death, and stayed by my side while I fought to come back from everything. Between 12/23 and 10/ 25 I lost 3 of my little pack. My last two girls are hanging in there, both with heart and old age issues, but at 11 and 16, they are still by my side. We have since fostered several others, and adopted 2 puppy mill rescues, and a shepherd that was being rehomed. I miss my fluffers who have gone but having these new friends, who need a lot of love and affection keeps me going. PS I started watching your YouTube channel prior to my 3/23 TKR, and thanks to your advice about getting ahead of things by exercising prior to surgery and working hard in rehab it was the best decision ever. Thanks.
