This was just hard not to share. Sinker redwood. Feels heavy. It came from a 1500 plus old tree log that was under the San Lorenzo River for probably couple hundred years and washed up by the Santa Cruz Board Walk around 2002. This Sinker redwood is what people expect sinker to look like with the stripes. And curly on a small section of it. SCGC and Marvelwoods will be working on making these type woods available for luthier community. We will be launching very soon. These sets have already been used by SCGC.
