Left mine. The church my grandfather helped build when he came over from Lapland. I grew up in that church. Had to leave and t broke my heart.

Donā€™t suffer silently and let the left win. ā€œLeave Loudlyā€. We have a responsibility to witness to peopleā€™s consciences

My former church, even after I warned the pastors, decided to embrace the CRT ideology, but they were also well on their way, having installed a female 'elder' the year or so before. I was only at that church a very short while.

Most evangelical churches went woke summer 2020 bending the knee to St Floyd of Fentanyl. Pay attention to the associations they are in. Those associations have meetings with government officials and those officials ask for concessions and favors.

This advice is so solid. The sad part is that such men trending in that direction are likely to condemn such use of that relationship. They usually will smirk you with trying to cause division, etc.

My church was sick spiritually, not so much because of woke, but it was sick. I had gone to that church for 10 years. I wasn't in leadership, but that was my own choosing.

When i went to address our sickness, I used my relational capital. I found out very quickly that my holdings were less than advertised.

I made a ruckus. They tried to throw me out (in an unbiblical way) and the Lord decided no.

I stayed, but my heart was destroyed. The Lord helped me build new, healthy relationships outside my sick church.

Thank you Jesus.

Whether you stay in and uphold the scriptures or you get kicked out because of the truth from the scriptures, whatever you do, STICK TO THE SCRIPTURES.

Keep your eyes in the scriptures (Luke11:34).

When Peter put his eyes on the wind, he started sinking (Matthew 14:30)

I like how this question gets asked over and over and over again. We all know the answer, and that itā€™s more complicated than trying to get permission to do so from some internet pastor. Thatā€™s not a dig on Doug or others like him, I just mean that yā€™all need to just do the hard thing and discern whether itā€™s bad enough that you need to leave.

Churches that reject woke crt are encouraged to put your church on the website Discerning Christians for people to find

Checking this out because my pastor have been talking about climate change recently and have used the pulpit for political campaigning in the past before. Iā€™m just an ordinary member, not a church leader. Itā€™s tricky

If you understood what was at stake, how small the margin really was, I donā€™t believe you would suffer a shepherd leading you astray.

For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:14, NASB)

as soon as our church hired a female pastor we were done. we got married in that church and our kids were baptized there. It was a sad leave, and we talked with the head pastor about it. he was kind but felt assured he did the right thing in his hire of the lady.

Thatā€™s a great answer. Itā€™s way more nuanced than just ā€œraise hell and leaveā€, which is what many right wing Christian youtubers would say.

Our church (Bible church) isnā€™t necessarily Woke, but Iā€™m starting to see patterns of worldliness. After our music director left in which we always sang hymns to Glorify God. Now we have an electric guitar, drums elec bass. They sing contemporary songs that mostly only talk about God & Jesus coming from the 3rd person perspective. A few years ago at the Christmas service during one of the aforementioned songs, the lights went dim and a spotlight fell upon the guitar player playing a solo. I thought I was at a rock concert. The Glory was clearly being given only to the guitar player. Am I just looking at this too critically or is my church starting down a wrong path?
