So many of us have been lied to,mislead and ghosted!!!!!
We find yourselves trapped by no fault of our own!
Why hasn't the pharmaceutical companys provided compensation but mainly support and acknowledgement of the great harm these medications (poisons)
Eventually cause.
So many not really living, just existing....
We need good medical care and support to come of these drugs.
At the expense of the pharmaceutical industry. 😢

I had serotonin " syndrome" and nearly died. It was a terrifying scare like no other Ive experienced. Like a horrific psychotic bad acid trip in hell. Your muscles turn rock hard and your arms and legs flap like a chicken and you go into seizures. You feel like you drank a ton of caffeine or stimulants The sad thing is it mimics a psychosis so doctors raise the dose of the medication poisoning you instead of stopping it. There are psychiatric patients restrained and trapped in the nightmare when Drs just need to take a temperature as a clue ,you get hot and overheated as your brain fries. My Dr accused me of doing drugs as I tried to tell him something was really wrong. It was the drugs he gave me. I was so naive I thought " if I'm this depressed on antidepressants I'd be really depressed without them". They can MAKE you depressed and even kill you. Never touched the stuff since and the depression hasn't returned.

I had the same experience in my early 20's. "chemical imbalance". Also naive, believed it.
At age 60 still on antidepressant. I'm prescr. 2 but only take 1. No one before this Dr has spoken anything about the dangers. I've recently stopped the one and feel fine. Told my Dr & he said I need to keep taking it, with a fear in his voice.

Yes! You said it spot on. I remember my first diagnosis....yes you have Bipolar. Alright that 100% explains my depression. You actually are like "OMG make sense!" Yeah I went in at 25 very young and now I am 40 with the start of my journey hopefully to get off my psychiatric meds safely. But then you get older and question yourself....hmmm why is my dose going up? Why don't I feel as good as I did at first? Then you realize why is Seeoquel making me not cry? That's so weird and you question it. Then you realize the DSM is so similar in their "characteristic's", you can have 80 diagnosis 's lol. Just bs.

So, I'm 65 and I remember this exact conversation 40 years ago, and resulting belief that I have no control and am completely dependent upon my Dr and the pharmaceutical companies for my mental health. It has not changed at all in the mental health field, and I feel imprisoned.
