A new study has been released from the American Heart Association that says an 8-hour time-restricted eating linked to a 91% higher risk of cardiovascular death. But is that really what the data shows? Will intermittent fasting cause a heart attack?

In today’s video we’re going to take a look at the study and determine if it is of high or low quality. I think this is a very important skill for everyone to have because a lot of the scientific research out there is fraudulent and funded by industry, and you need to be able to quickly discern what you should pay attention to and what you shouldn’t.

This research is coming from the American Heart Association's Epidemiological & Prevention Lifestyle & Cardiometabolic Health Scientific Sessions 2024. This conference just happened March 18 through the 21st. I have linked the press release and abstract where you can read all about the study itself and how it is conducted below. I've also linked the poster presentation from the conference.

This is the study from the American Heart Association. The corruption of the medical industry is unreal.

Even if you're eating the SAD, most people eat in an 8-hour window. A lot of people will skip breakfast, then eat lunch & dinner, which is usually in an 8-hour window.

Take a look at some pictures of people back in the 1940s, 50s, 60's, 70's, and 80s.. pretty much everyone was eating pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries, chips, bread, pasta, tacos, ice cream, and even soda sometimes. And almost everyone was thin.

I'm sorry but I don't see how it's healthy to go without eating for long periods of time and then cram tons of heavy food into into one's body in a 4 to 6 hour window of time. Also being in the military it wouldn't even be allowed. Just because you say it's healthy doesn't mean that it is.
